The multi-surface Miele that cleans carpet properly — without an electric wand.

✅ Hard Floor ✅ Low-Pile Carpet ✅ Area Rugs ✅ Pet Hair ✅ Mixed-Surface Homes

Most vacuums at this price are good at one type of floor. Some handle hardwood well but struggle the moment you hit a rug. Others manage carpet fine but mark every baseboard in the house. The Miele Complete C3 Multi Surface Care takes a different approach.
It ships with three full-size professional floor tools — including the TurboTeQ air-driven turbo brush — and covers hard floors, area rugs, and low-pile carpet without needing an electric wand or powered hose. The brush roller spins entirely on suction airflow. No electrical connection in the hose. No extra weight from a powered wand. It just works.
For most homes — hardwood or tile in the main areas, low-pile carpet in the bedrooms, rugs throughout — that's the full picture covered. One machine, three purpose-built tools, nothing left out.
The 1200W motor is quiet. Six foot-operated suction levels mean you adjust on the fly without bending down. The GN AirClean bag seals when you pull it out. These aren't features you notice on a spec sheet — you notice them the fifth time you use it.

The TurboTeQ Turbo Brush. This Is What Makes It Different.
Most straight-suction canisters ship with a passive nozzle for carpet. It moves debris around more than it picks it up. The Multi Surface Care includes the STB 305-3 TurboTeQ — an air-driven brush roller that agitates carpet fibres and lifts hair, lint, and dust without any electrical connection in the wand or hose.
The brush spins off the vacuum's own suction airflow. A turbine inside the head converts that airflow into rotation — consistent and considerably lighter than a powered brush system. The 11-inch brush roll reaches across area rug edges and bedroom carpet without the bulk of an electro-head pulling back against you.
The air valve built into the head prevents the tool from sticking to carpet mid-stroke. It doesn't replace a full electric powerhead on dense carpet — but for low-pile carpet and area rugs, which is what most mixed-surface homes actually have, it handles the job properly.

What's Actually in the Box

  • Parquet Twister (SBB 300-3) — Double-swivel joint, spiral natural bristles, flexible neck. Glides across hardwood, laminate, tile, and vinyl without scratching. Included here as standard — it's one of the better hard floor tools Miele makes at any price point.
  • Combination Floor Tool (SBD 365-3) — Foot-activated switch toggles between hard floor and low-pile carpet mode. Covers both surfaces without swapping tools.
  • TurboTeQ Turbo Brush (STB 305-3) — Air-driven brush roller for low-pile carpet and area rugs. No electrical wand connection required. 11-inch cleaning path. Built-in air valve prevents carpet stick. Effective on pet hair and threads.
  • Four Accessories, Stored On-Board — Upholstery tool, crevice tool, dusting brush, and SUB 20 universal brush with dual swivel joints. All stored under the hood.
  • AirClean Filtration — SF AA 50 Active Air Clean filter with charcoal layer captures fine dust and neutralizes pet odours. GN dust bag self-seals on removal — no dust cloud when you swap the bag.

What Customers Say
"I have hardwood in the main areas and low-pile carpet in the bedrooms. This handles both without any fuss. The turbo brush picks up my cat's hair in one pass — didn't expect that from an air-driven head." ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
"Skeptical that a non-electric brush could clean carpet properly. It really does. Quieter than I expected, and the bag system is genuinely clever." ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: Does the carpet tool need an electrical connection to work?
A: No.
The STB 305-3 TurboTeQ is fully air-driven — the brush roller spins off the vacuum's suction airflow, with no electrical contact in the hose or wand. That's why it's lighter and easier to manoeuvre than a powered brush. The trade-off is that it's best on low to medium-pile carpet and area rugs. For thick or dense carpet, a powered electro-head performs better — we're happy to walk you through which one fits your floors.

Q: How does it handle pet hair?
A: Well, for everyday management on hard floors and low-pile surfaces.
The TurboTeQ lifts hair and threads efficiently, and the GN bag seals on removal — no dander release. For heavy shedders on thick wall-to-wall carpet, a Miele with an electric powerhead is the better fit. Come in and we can show you both side by side.

Q: How does this compare to the C3 Excellence or Marin?
A: The Multi Surface Care is Miele's best-value multi-surface package
— three floor tools including the TurboTeQ, at a meaningfully lower price than the Excellence or Marin. Those models step up to electric powerheads for deeper cleaning on medium-to-thick carpet. For homes with hard floors and low-pile carpet, the Multi Surface Care covers the job without paying for capability you won't use.

Q: Is the filtration good enough for allergy households?
A: Yes, with reasonable expectations.
The AirClean system with charcoal filter captures fine dust and neutralizes pet odours. The GN bag self-seals on removal — no cloud of vacuumed air in your face. It's a proper sealed system. If severe allergies are the primary concern, ask us about HEPA upgrade options when you visit.

Q: Where do I get replacement bags and filters in Canada?
A: We stock genuine Miele GN bags and SF AA 50 filters at Vacuum Supermarket
. Worth sticking with genuine bags — off-brand alternatives can compromise the sealed filtration, which is the part that makes the AirClean system actually work.
