Most cordless vacuums handle floors fine. The Duoflex HX1 CarCare was built for exactly those jobs. Same capable machine as the standard HX1. Different kit.
What the CarCare Edition Adds
The two accessories that define this version: a flexible suction hose (up to 120 cm extension) and an extendable flexible XL crevice nozzle. Both are exclusive to this model within the Duoflex HX1 line.
The hose feeds suction into spaces the vacuum body can't reach — car interiors being the obvious one, but also behind appliances, underneath tight kitchen cabinets, and anywhere the machine itself won't fit. The crevice nozzle bends to the angle you need and extends for extra reach. Between seats, along trim lines, into the narrow slots where things disappear. The suction gets in. What's in there comes out.
The Motor
The Digital Efficiency Motor delivers strong suction without the cord. Same power whether you're running the electrobrush across hardwood, switching to carpet, or attaching the hose for a car-cleaning session. It's not the top-spec motor in Miele's cordless lineup — the Triflex line runs a more powerful unit — but for the jobs the Duoflex is designed for, it's more than enough.
MultiFloor Electrobrush
The standard cleaning head reads the surface automatically and adjusts the roller brush speed. Hard floor, low-pile carpet, area rug — no dial, no manual switching. Flooring detection handles the transition and you won't notice the switch happening unless you're watching for it. Realistically, this performs best on low-to-medium pile; very thick carpet is where a corded canister starts to have an edge. For mixed-surface homes — hardwood in the main areas, carpet in the bedrooms — it handles the daily pass well.
Battery & Runtime
Up to 55 minutes on MIN power, PowerUnit running solo without the electrobrush. Actual runtime varies depending on your home setup — floor type, power level, and whether the electrobrush is running all affect how far a single charge takes you.
SpeedLock Wall Bracket
Included with every CarCare. One movement to dock, one to grab and go. Holds the vacuum and accessories in one place. Charges separately (not through the bracket), but having a fixed home for the machine matters more than you'd think — especially when you're pulling it out daily.
