Miele Triflex HX2 Pro | Cordless Stick Vacuum | The Most Powerful Cordless Miele Has Ever Made.

The strongest cordless in Miele's lineup — engineered for the whole home, without the cord.

Most cordless vacuums make the same promise: powerful enough for your whole home. Most fall short. The Triflex HX2 Pro gets closer than any cordless Miele has built. The Digital Efficiency Motor delivers 60% more suction than the HX1 generation, and the whole system — Vortex Technology, Multi-Floor XXL electrobrush, automatic floor detection — is engineered to sustain that performance across every surface. If you've been wondering whether a cordless can genuinely handle a full house: this is the one that comes closest.

Three Modes. One Machine. Nothing Gets Left Behind.

Miele's patented 3-in-1 design sets the Triflex apart from every other stick vacuum on the market.

Comfort Mode — PowerUnit near the base, weight balanced low. Long sessions stop feeling like arm workouts. The vacuum stands on its own when you pause.

Reach Mode — PowerUnit moves to the top of the wand for ceilings, under-bed cleaning, and staircase edges that normally need a second tool.

Compact Mode — Detach the PowerUnit for a fully independent handheld. Sofa cushions, car interiors, pet beds. Same motor, same suction — just smaller.

Parts click together with a solid, reassuring snap. Nothing feels provisional.

BrilliantLight + Auto Floor Detection

The Multi-Floor XXL electrobrush reads your surface automatically — hardwood, tile, carpet, area rugs — and adjusts suction and brush speed without input from you. The BrilliantLight LED illuminates dust that would otherwise stay invisible on dark floors or under furniture. No dials, no switching. It just handles it.

HEPA Lifetime Filter. 99.999%.

The HX2 Pro uses a certified HEPA Lifetime Filter — 99.999% dust retention (IEC 62885-4), a step above the HX1's Hygiene Lifetime Filter. For allergy-sensitive households or pet owners, that difference is real. Maintenance note: Miele recommends replacing the filter once a year under normal use, and never rinse it with water — it's not washable.

Two Batteries. One for Each Hand, Practically.

Two removable VARTA Li-ion batteries, one standalone charging cradle — one runs while the other charges. Up to 120 minutes total on MIN level with both in sequence. Real-world runtime varies with pet hair load, carpet density, and suction setting. But with two batteries in rotation, running out mid-clean stops being a concern. That's the difference between a vacuum you plan around and one you just use.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is this really Miele's most powerful vacuum? A: Among cordless vacuums, yes. The Digital Efficiency Motor delivers 60% more suction than the HX1 generation, with Vortex Technology sustaining that airflow under real conditions — carpet agitation, fine dust, pet hair. It performs at the top of what any cordless in this class currently offers.

Q: How does the HX2 Pro differ from the Triflex HX1 Facelift? A: The HX2 Pro runs a more powerful motor, upgrades to a certified HEPA Lifetime Filter (99.999% vs 99.99%), adds BrilliantLight LED on the electrobrush, and includes a second battery plus standalone charger. The HX1 Facelift is a strong buy at its price. The HX2 Pro is a different tier — built for homes where those limits would actually matter.

Q: Is the 0.5L dustbin enough? A: For regular maintenance cleaning, yes — one or two empties per session. Deep cleans or heavy pet shedding will require more frequent emptying. It's the one practical tradeoff worth knowing upfront.

Q: Can I use this as my only vacuum in a multi-level home? A: The three-mode design makes stairs manageable, and two batteries remove the runtime concern. On paper, a corded canister still has the engineering edge — that's physics. But what we hear from customers: for most homes, in day-to-day use, the HX2 Pro is enough. The cordless convenience gets used more often, which means the home gets cleaned more often. A lot of people who thought it wouldn't replace their canister find out it does.

Q: Is the HEPA filter maintenance-free? A: Not exactly. Miele recommends replacing it once a year under normal use — sooner with heavy pet hair or high dust loads. The ComfortClean mechanism helps restore airflow between replacements, but doesn't eliminate eventual replacement. If the filter has gone grey rather than returning to white, it's time. And never rinse it with water — it's not washable.

Q: Do you carry this in-store? A: Yes. Come in and run it in all three modes — that's the best way to decide. Free shipping across Canada, same-day shipping in the North Shore area.
